On the set of Paris When It Sizzles. ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh my word. *almost crying*

“Nothing can prepare you for the end.” SO. TRUE. (Also, isn’t this poster fabulous?)

  1. Grace Kelly is beautiful, is she not?!! I so want to be in a wedding like that ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh, that Calvin picture is hilarious ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. Saving Private Ryan! You know, I was just telling Hamlette that I’ve just decided to cast Matt Damon as the hero in my next WWII novel (which is about the Holocaust and the Dutch Resistance). You excited to read it yet?? ๐Ÿ™‚

No, I’ve never actually seen that movie or any of his other movies, but the pictures looked so PERFECT for my character that I was like, “yep. That’s the one.”

    • Of COURSE I’m excited to read it. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Incidentally, I’ve got the most delicious photo of him-as-Private-Ryan for my desktop background right now. Loooove it! I’ve only seen two of his films, though – SPR and The Bourne Identity. But I want to watch as many as I can.

      • I can’t wait to start actually writing that story, but I think I need to put it off till I finish the novel I’m currently working on. Cause I don’t want to get distracted ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ll keep brainstorming, though, definitely. The Matt-Damon-person is called Dirk van Manen, and he’s a Dutch Resistance fighter. He’s purty awesome.

I really loved all the SPR photos of him, but I’m actually going with the Bourne Identity ones for my “inspiration board” because they look slightly more Dirk-ish. If you know what I mean.

      • I get that, about being distracted. Right now, I’m not writing anything, because my brain keeps giving me plot stuff for my NaNo book (it’s an agonizingly slow process, thus far) and I don’t want to mess up that inspiration, y’know? By the way, if you want a beta-reader for the WWII book when you’re done, SEND IT TO ME. ๐Ÿ™‚

        Yup. I totally understand.
